# LG 50" QNED82A 4K Smart TV *Published: 2026-04-07 | Updated: 2026-04-07 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/lg-50"-qned82a-4k-smart-tv* --- **Brand:** LG **Price Range:** $379.99 - $476.99 across 20 retailers ## Pros - The picture quality is consistently praised for being clear, bright, and vibrant with excellent 4K resolution and true blacks, making it a noticeable upgrade from older 1080p models. - Offers a wide selection of video and audio customization options to tailor your viewing experience. - Wireless streaming works smoothly, providing seamless access to numerous channels and apps. - Setup is generally straightforward and user-friendly, with an easy-to-navigate menu and interface. - The TV pairs well with external sound bars, enhancing overall audio quality. - Alexa is built in, adding convenient voice control features. - Great value considering the advanced features and technology compared to older TVs. - The remote, while initially confusing, can be supplemented by a phone app that supports easy TV control and screen mirroring. - Ideal size for bedrooms or smaller living spaces. - Users appreciate the modern design and upgraded features that surpass many other well-known brands. ## Cons - The remote control is widely disliked for poor design, lacking essential buttons such as input, rewind, and mute, and having slow or confusing responsiveness. - Slow performance and lag in the webOS interface reduce smoothness compared to competitors like Samsung. - The TV sometimes defaults to opening an app on startup, requiring manual adjustment to disable this feature. - Auto-switching to the correct HDMI input often fails, causing inconvenience when powering on connected devices. - The stand feels cheap and flimsy, similar to many low or mid-range TVs, which may impact stability. - Wall mounting is reported as challenging. - Limited remote control functionality for other connected devices beyond power and volume. - Some users have privacy concerns about saved passwords stored in the cloud for webOS apps. - Overall performance doesn’t always meet the speed expectations set by other brands. - Might feel small for larger rooms or primary living rooms, with some users contemplating a larger size for better immersion. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms |
